Description
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, therapeutic, and individualized patient care
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Implement and evaluate nursing interventions and patient outcomes
- Serve as a patient and family advocate
- Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Delegate and assign tasks within team members’ scope of practice
- Provide patient/family education and evaluate learning needs
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Manage complex, high-risk, or unusual clinical situations
- Communicate patient care needs effectively with healthcare and ancillary staff
- Perform Charge RN responsibilities and support department workflow
Requirements
- Active CA RN License
- CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 3 years of recent RN experience
- Minimum 2 years of recent specialty-area experience
- Strong Charge RN experience required
- Recent Operating Room (OR) experience
- Associate’s Degree or higher
- English proficiency – reading, writing, and speaking
