🫀 CVOR Surgical Technologist – Travel Contract

Position Details

Position: Surgical Technologist – CVOR
Shift: Days
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Contract: 13 weeks
Trauma Level: Level I

Required Experience

2+ years of CVOR experience
2+ years of recent CVOR experience within the last 6 months
2+ years Open Heart experience
Cardiovascular surgery experience
Endovascular surgery experience
Impella experience
Dissection experience
Level I Trauma experience

Required Certifications

Active CST certification required at submission
BLS required at submission

Key Responsibilities

Provide surgical technologist support for complex cardiovascular and cardiothoracic procedures
Prepare and maintain sterile fields for open-heart and CVOR procedures
Assist with cardiovascular, endovascular, and trauma cases
Support procedures involving Impella and aortic dissections
Maintain sterile instrumentation and supplies throughout procedures
Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia, and other OR staff
