Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: 3x12s | 36 hrs/week
Contract: 13 Weeks

🫁 Position Highlights

• Respiratory Therapy position at Mercy Hospital St. Louis
• EPIC EMR
• Provide respiratory care across hospital settings, including critical care
• Ventilator support during cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Maintain life-support equipment in ICUs and designated areas
• Work with adult critical-care and emergency patients
• 2 positions currently available out of 3 openings

✅ Must Have

• 1+ year Respiratory Therapy experience
• Current Missouri Respiratory Therapist license
• RRT credential – NBRC
• BLS
• ACLS
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program

🩺 Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy according to physician orders
• Assess and determine effectiveness of respiratory treatments
• Provide ventilator support during CPR and critical-care emergencies
• Maintain and manage life-support equipment
• Implement clinical interventions and respiratory procedures
• Apply sound clinical judgment when caring for critically ill patients
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team

📋 Assignment Details

• 36 guaranteed hours/week
• 13-week contract
• Night shift: 7 PM – 7 AM
• 3x12 schedule
• Weekend coverage as needed
• Call required
• Missouri license required
• BLS/ACLS/CRT required; ACCS preferred
