Description

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of ICU/critical care RN experience.
  • Open-heart/cardiac surgery experience required.
  • Experience with:
    • CABG
    • Post-valve surgery
    • Impella
    • Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
    • CRRT
  • Ability to care for mechanically ventilated and high-acuity patients.
  • Strong cardiac monitoring skills with the ability to interpret EKG strips and dysrhythmias.
  • Must successfully complete an online EKG/telemetry competency assessment before starting.
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) or BSN required.
  • Active Ohio RN license required.

Required Certifications

  • BLS – AHA
  • ACLS – AHA
  • NIHSS preferred
  • TNCC preferred
  • TNCC is not required.
