Description
Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer
Shift: Days, 5×8 hours
Hours: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, with occasional 8:30 AM rotation
Weekend: Rotating, approximately 1 weekend every 4 weeks
4×10s: Not accepted — traveler must commit to 5×8s
Float: May float between the main campus and a smaller campus about 3 miles away, and potentially other Cone Health campuses.
RTO: Must be submitted with the application; no post-submission RTO.
Local restriction: Candidates within 50 miles are not accepted.
Orientation: 24 hours
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience
- Registered cardiac/echo sonographer:
- ARDMS RDCS-AE, or
- CCI RCSS
- BLS
- Epic experience required
- GE and/or Philips experience
- TEE
- Stress echo
- 3D/strain imaging
- Definity contrast and bubble studies
- Experience with 2D/3D echo, Doppler, M-mode, PACS, portable studies, etc.
- Community hospital experience required
- Adult and geriatric patient experience
Preferred
- Impella checks
- LVAD
- Ramp studies
- Trauma Level I experience
- Travel experience
