MUST WORK 2 OUT OF 3 OF THE HOLIDAY BUNDLES (Thanksgiving & the day after, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, NYE & NYD)****
**MDC is a smoke-free facility at all times with no designated smoking areas, including the parking lot

Dayshift staff are expected to do 2 detox rounds daily, approximately 1:50 each round.
Nightshift staff are expected to do 1 detox round and 1 MOUD round, approximately 1:50 and 1:75 respectfully.
**Must be able to sustain being on your feet for 80% of shift

MOAB certification is required, if the traveler does not already have the MOAB certification, they will receive the 4 hour de escalation course during their first week. If they do not pass; their contract may be up for cancellation.

Certs REQ: BLS, ACLS, MOAB (facility will provide)

RTO Restrictions: greater than 7 days needs approval

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week, facility is allowed to call off 3x throughout a 13-week assignment

Patient Diagnoses: OUD, ETOH, Poly - substance use



Special Requirements: You will be expected to learn all post in the correctional setting but will primarily be covering Addictions Medicine department. The Addictions department oversees Suboxone, detox medication administration as well as Suboxone inductions, it will also include Methadone medication pass. You will be responsible for the assessments and treatments of patients going through substance withdrawal process and providing assessment and monitoring of patients during the induction process.
