Registered Polysomnographic Technologist
Location
- Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- Nights only, Sunday–Thursday
- 12-hour shifts
- 3 night shifts per week
- Shifts may not always be consecutive and may include split shifts
- Call is not required
- The employee will not work alone
Required Qualifications
- Polysomnographer with 1 year of experience
- Polysomnographer experience within the last year
- RPSGT
- BLS certification
- Experience working with pediatric patients
Job Duties
- Perform diagnostic sleep testing, including PAP therapy titration
- Check in patients, set up rooms, complete patient hookup, charting, and equipment cleaning
Work Environment
- No floating
- 10-bed sleep lab
- Two beds can be used for pediatric testing
- All patients are typically 2:1 tech ratio, except children younger than 3 years old, who are 1:1
- Limited scoring during data collection

- Computerized charting
- Natus XLTech Sleep Works
- ResMed S9 devices
Orientation / Training
- Modified EMR training
- One shift of orientation with another sleep tech
Additional Notes
- Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
- Scrubs: Gray
- Must note in submission if the clinician has ever worked for Sanford Health; if previously employed there, the end date must be at least 6 months before submission
