Position: RN - ICU

Location: Greensburg, PA 15601

Job Type: 13 Weeks Contract + possible extensions

Schedule: 3 days/week

Expected Hours: 36 hours per week

Shift: 

• Days: 3x12s (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Nights: 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Straight nights or rotating shifts available

Local candidates accepted as well, pay for locals: $55 - $60/hr

Job Overview:

We are seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses to join a high-acuity critical care team in Greensburg, PA. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing critically ill patients, ventilators, cardiac drips, central lines, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring while working in a fast-paced intensive care environment.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU.
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Manage ventilated patients, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, and respiratory failure cases.
• Administer blood products and maintain central lines, PICC lines, arterial lines, and IV therapy.
• Titrate vasoactive medications, cardiac drips, sedation, and paralytic infusions.

• Interpret dysrhythmias, ABGs, and ECGs and respond appropriately to changes 

  in patient status.

• Care for patients with stroke, renal failure, pulmonary embolism, and multisystem organ dysfunction.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to infection prevention and isolation protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania or compact state RN License.
• 2 years of experience as a RN ICU.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• ACLS certification.
• NIHSS certification.
