Rapid Response Crisis Opportunity – Immediate Start!

Are you an experienced Med/Surg RN ready to make an immediate impact? This 12-week crisis assignment in Hamilton, Montana is designed for a confident, adaptable nurse who can provide high-quality care to patients with varying levels of acuity across a broad age range.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to Med/Surg patients with varying levels of acuity.
• Care for patients across a broad age spectrum while adapting care plans to individual needs.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and continuously evaluate patient conditions.
• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, patient responses, and outcomes in the Cerner EMR.
• Direct and coordinate patient-care activities with ancillary and support staff.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, coworkers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Prioritize patient needs in a dynamic Med/Surg environment.
• Maintain patient safety, infection-control standards, and professional nursing practices.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity and quality of care.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing and appropriate for the assignment.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Demonstrated ability to care for patients with varying acuities.
• Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Cerner EMR experience preferred/strongly beneficial.
• Flexibility to work required holidays during the assignment.
