Description

Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM

Requirements

  • No experience required
  • ADN or ASN required
  • Active RN license in the applicable state
  • BLS required
  • EPIC experience required
  • BSN preferred
  • Previous nursing experience preferred

Main Responsibilities

  • Assess patients and identify their needs
  • Create and update individualized care plans
  • Give medications, treatments, and nursing care
  • Monitor patients and recognize changes in condition
  • Communicate changes to doctors and other healthcare providers
  • Educate patients and families about treatments and care
  • Help with admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Coordinate care with doctors, therapists, case management, and other staff
  • Delegate tasks to nursing support staff and monitor their work
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation
  • Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and evidence-based practices
  • Participate in quality improvement activities

Bottom line: This is a night-shift RN position that accepts new graduates/no experience, but you need an ADN/ASN, active RN license, BLS, and EPIC experience.
