L&D Travel RN

• Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D) RN
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Hours: 12-hour shifts
• Guaranteed: 36 hours/week
• Weekends: Every other weekend
• Holidays: Every other holiday

🚨 Must-Have Requirements

• 2 recent years of L&D RN experience
• OR circulator experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• EPIC experience required
• Must independently read and interpret telemetry strips
• Must pass a telemetry test on Day 1 with 85%+
• High-risk OB experience preferred
• CNM experience will NOT be accepted

Certifications

Must provide copies of:

• BLS
• NRP

NRP training must be fully completed and cannot expire during the contract.

Also required:

• Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring course, preferably AWHONN

Preferred:

• Dysrhythmia/Telemetry interpretation course

🏥 Unit Details

• 9 labor rooms
• 2 operating/recovery rooms
• 5 triage rooms
• Approximately 3,000 deliveries per year
• High-risk obstetrics experience is a plus

💰 Local vs. Travel

• If you live less than 50 miles from the hospital, you are considered local

Bottom Line

This is a long-term L&D travel RN job with night shifts, 3 × 12 hours/week, every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday requirements. You need 2 recent years of L&D experience + OR circulating experience + travel experience + EPIC + BLS + NRP, and you must pass the telemetry test.
