Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 3 x 12-Hour Rotating Shifts
Weekend Requirement: Must be willing to work consecutive weekends as needed
 

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Honolulu, HI. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients requiring close monitoring and specialized nursing care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to PCU patients.
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes.
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and other critical patient parameters.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Follow hospital policies, procedures, and patient safety standards.

Requirements:

• Active Hawaii RN License required prior to the start of the contract
• Recent PCU experience required
• Must successfully pass an on-site EKG test to continue the assignment
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts
• Must be agreeable to working consecutive weekends as needed
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
