Travel MRI Technologist – Columbus, OH

We’re hiring an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Columbus, Ohio.

Position Details

Location: Columbus, OH
Weekly Gross: $2,852/week
Start Date: September 9, 2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 3x12s
Hours: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Weekly Hours: 36

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
ARRT (MR) – Required
ARRT (R) – Required
BLS – Required
Strong MRI scanning and patient safety experience
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic MRI examinations according to established protocols
Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and MRI safety procedures
Produce high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient comfort and safety
Review images for technical quality and accuracy
Maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other clinical team members
Follow departmental safety and infection-prevention procedures

### Scheduling & Assignment Details - **Night Shift:** 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM - **Schedule:** Thursday through Monday - **5x8-hour shifts / 40 hours per week** - Block scheduling available - Candidate **must be willing to work weekends** - Floating is required - Orientation provided at the beginning of the assignment ### Facility Environment The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a high-volume academic medical environment with complex inpatient and outpatient MRI cases. Experience in the following environments is particularly valuable: - Adult Acute Care - Adult Outpatient - Teaching Hospital - Level I Trauma setting ### Additional Requirements - **COVID-19 Vaccine:** Not Required - **Flu Vaccine:** Required – medical exemptions only - Must meet all credentialing and documentation requirements before start
