Description
Travel OR/Surgical Technologist
Hours: 40 hours/week; potentially 32 hours during a holiday week
Operating hours: 06:45–23:15; actual shift varies by department needs
Call: Required 24/7, averaging 1–2 call shifts/week, plus up to 2 weekends/month
Callback: Must be able to return within 20 minutes
License: Hawaii state license required by the start of the assignment; apply immediately after accepting if not already licensed
Experience: Minimum 2 years of hospital-based scrubbing
Scrubbing independently:
General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, and Gynecology
Other duties: Turnover cleaning and transporting patients as needed
OR size/workload: Small but busy and efficient; 1–2 outpatient GI labs; 1–2 rooms running simultaneously
Scrubs: Provided
Orientation: Day shift for up to one week, or at manager's discretion
Arrival requirement: Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for Employee Health on Friday
RTO requirement: If requesting time off, traveler must complete at least 39 shifts during the contract
