Description
Role (RN, Tech, LPN, PT, etc.): RNFA
• Specialty: Endovascular OR
• Shift: Days 4x10, 0645-1715
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
ALL CONTINGENCY REQUESTS MUST BE ON THE SUBMISSION FORM
• Weekend Hours: Call 24 hrs per day on weekend
• Required Licensure: Current RN License (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri.)
• Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only
• Preferred Certifications: CNOR
• Years of Experience: 1 year Endovascular OR RNFA
• Float Requirements: as needed, to other OR units
Overview: Circulates and/ or scrubs procedures in the Endovascular OR/ Endovascular Lab. Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups to include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice, the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, Mercy Code of Conduct, Mercy Mission and Values and Mercy Service Standards. At least 1 year of endovascular OR experience. Scrub experience also preferred.
