Description
Role: Ultrasound Technologist
Shift: Rotating 7 AM / 7 PM; exact schedule discussed during interview
Experience: 2 years of pediatric experience
Pediatric requirement: Must have worked at a dedicated pediatric hospital and/or be Pediatric Board Certified (PS)
Travel experience: Completion of at least 1 full travel assignment
Certification: ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
BLS: Current AHA BLS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Main duties
The technologist will:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
- Produce and evaluate images for radiologist interpretation.
- Reconcile physician orders.
- Handle imaging/data management.
- Transport patients when needed.
- Ensure results are properly accounted for and available for timely diagnosis.
