Position Overview

• Duration: 13–20 week contract options (Auto-offer for 36 hours/week)

• Shift: Days (3x12 Hours, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

   

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 18 months of combined permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required (preferred to be within one location but not required).
• Licensure: Permanent Ohio RN license or an active Compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
• Certifications: Active AHA BLS and ACLS required (must be in hand at time of submission, no pending certs accepted).
• References: One (1) required reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty worked within the past 12 months (no co-worker references accepted).

Compliance & Facility Details

• Qualivis & RTO: Standard Qualivis cover sheet completed and filled in. All Return Time Off (RTO) must be discussed during the interview and included at the time of submission.
• Exclusivity: Travelers may only be submitted for one (1) job at a time within the Cleveland Clinic Health System.
• Assessments: ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate completed during orientation (maximum 2 attempts to pass). PBDS assessment is waived.
• Background & Licensing: Background checks with hits are reviewed case-by-case (no open cases accepted); no license hits accepted. BCI/FBI fingerprints must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract.
• Nicotine Policy: Nurses and CSTs are temporarily exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements.
• Rehire Rule: Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date.
