Position: Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT)

Contract Length: 6 Months

 

Available Shifts

🌅 Mid Shift

  • 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

🌙 Night Shift (NOC)

  • 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

🏥 About the Role

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or Psychiatrist, the Licensed Psychiatric Technician provides direct patient care and assists with therapeutic interventions designed to support patient well-being and recovery.

This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about behavioral health and enjoy working closely with patients in a residential or inpatient setting.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments
  • Assist with therapeutic procedures and interventions
  • Monitor patient behaviors and responses to treatment

  • Communicate patient status and concerns to the interdisciplinary team
  • Maintain accurate documentation

✅ Requirements

 

Required

  • Current Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) License
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred

  • One year of psychiatric experience within the past three years
  • Experience working in behavioral health, psychiatric, residential, or inpatient settings

Additional Requirements

  • Current CPR Certification (if applicable)
  • TB Screening, PPD, or Chest X-Ray (if applicable)
  • Current Health Certificate (per contract or state requirements)
  • Compliance with professional standards of practice
