Unit: SJMC - Intermediate Care

Unit Type: Stepdown

Shift Length: 12

Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week

Years of Experience; 2 Years

License to Submit: Yes

Required Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS

Shift Notes: 4 x 12's

Must be able to read telemetries, must be comfortable with chest tubes

Travel RN would be put into a holiday & weekend rotation.

Travel RNs are first to float. Can go to ICU if they have extensive ICU experience, otherwise would go to Gen Med floors. The travel RN would take whatever assignment is required for that level of care. 
Example: ICU: 2 patients, Gen Med: 5-6 patients
