Demonstrated ability to provide safe, effective, and compassionate patient care.
Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with patients, families, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Ability to follow hospital policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.
Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
Previous hospital or acute-care nursing experience is preferred.

Education

Required Education:

Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing is required.

Preferred Education:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association is required.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), as appropriate for the unit or service.

Preferred Certifications & Licensure:

Specialty certification appropriate to the assigned unit or service is preferred.
