Scrub Tech

Location

Hilo, Hawaii

Contract

13 weeks
Contract
40 hours per week, with a possibility of 32 hours in a holiday week

Schedule

Variable shifts between 0645 and 2315
Call coverage is required 24/7
Average call frequency is 1–2 times per week, plus up to 2 weekends per month
20-minute call-back time

Job Responsibilities

Help with turnover cleaning
Transport patients when needed
Independently scrub cases in:
- General
- Orthopedic
- Vascular
- Ophthalmic
- Urology
- ENT
- Endoscopy
- Robotic
- Obstetrics
- Gynecology

Required Qualifications

Surgical Technologist with 2 years of experience
Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
BLS
NBSTSA
Experience in a hospital setting

Additional Details

Traveler must complete a minimum of 39 shifts during the contract if requested time off is taken
Orientation is on day shift for up to 1 week, or until manager discretion
Scrubs are provided
