MRI TECHNOLOGIST – TRAVEL ASSIGNMENT

Location: Brookfield, WI

Start Date: 9/6

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Pay: $3,006/week gross

Shift: Mon–Fri • 7:30 AM–4:00 PM OR 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Call: 1 weeknight per month + 1 weekend per month; holiday call as needed (rotating with staff)

Position Overview

A skilled MRI Technologist is needed for a 13‑week assignment in Brookfield, WI. This role supports a busy imaging department and requires strong MRI competency, GE scanner experience, and the ability to float within the facility or to nearby sites (up to 40 miles) as needed. Candidates must be comfortable working independently, delivering high‑quality imaging, and supporting a variety of MRI workflows including breast MRI.

Requirements

• ARRT
• Active Wisconsin License (must be active at time of submission)
• Current BLS
• MRI experience required
• GE scanner experience
• Breast MRI experience
• EPIC experience
• Travel experience preferred

Schedule & Compensation

• Shift: Mon–Fri, either 7:30a–4:00p or 8:30a–5:00p
• Call: Based on department needs
  • Currently: 1 night during the week + 1 weekend per month
  • Holidays: call as needed, rotating with regular staff
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Start: 9/6
• Gross Pay: $3,006/week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality MRI exams following department protocols
• Operate GE MRI scanners and troubleshoot equipment as needed
• Support breast MRI workflows and specialized imaging needs
• Maintain accurate documentation within EPIC
• Float within skill set onsite or to nearby locations (up to 40 miles)
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical teams
• Uphold MRI safety standards and departmental policies
