Description

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnose speech, language, cognitive, communication, voice, and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Provide speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing therapy.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment programs as appropriate.
Prepare accurate clinical reports and communicate with referral sources and treatment agencies.
Participate in program development for the Speech Therapy discipline, PM&R Department, and Service Line.
Participate in community outreach and educational programs.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care and outcomes.
Provide inpatient coverage on scheduled weekends.

Requirements

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Current NYS Speech-Language Pathology licensure.
Clinical certification in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent).
Outpatient Speech-Language Pathology experience preferred.
Must be willing to work inpatient on weekends.
