Shift: 12 hours, nights

Types of procedures required. Care of OB triage, labor & delivery, postpartum, well-newborn and special care nursery (IV, antibiotics, short-term respiratory support CPAP or O2) and GYN surgical patientEquipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)EPIC computer charting, OBIX with central monitoring for fetal monitor strips; Acudose med dispensing cabinetRequired skills and minimum years of experience.Minimum 2 years experience interpretation of fetal monitor strips; attendance at vaginal delivery, immediate care and resuscitation of newbornSpecific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)BLS, ACLS, NRPShift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone Is call required If so, how often Are weekends required) 2 OB trained staff in house at all times; 8 or 12 hour weekday shifts; Weekends required 2 out of 3 weekends- weekend shifts are Fri/Sat/Sun 7a-730p or 7p-730aFloating to over units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments)Primarily hours in Women s Center dept; float to General Medical unit if census low in OBBed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.12 bed unit 2 triage, 5 LRDP, 5 overflow postpartum/gyn surgicalNurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)1:2-3 mom/baby couplets; 1:2 early labor, 1:1 active labor, 1:3 post-op, Dress Code: Hospital washed scrubs provided
