Radiologic Technologist – Travel Contract

Shift: Days – 8-hour shifts
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Shift Times: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Contract Length: 17 weeks

Required Qualifications

• RD ARRT certification – Required
• BLS through American Heart Association – Required
• South Carolina Radiologic Technologist license – Required
• SCRQSA registration – Required
• Experience with GE X-ray equipment
• Experience with portable X-ray equipment
• Experience with OEC (GE) C-arms in the OR

Required Experience

• Previous Radiologic Technologist/X-ray experience required
• Experience performing general and portable X-ray exams
• Experience positioning patients and selecting appropriate technical factors
• Experience with OR/C-arm imaging preferred
• Ability to work independently and provide safe, quality patient care

Job Responsibilities

• Perform general and specific X-ray examinations
• Operate fixed and mobile X-ray equipment
• Perform portable X-rays at the patient's bedside
• Assist with C-arm procedures in the OR
• Position patients and select appropriate exposure techniques
• Prepare patients and explain procedures
• Maintain radiation safety and proper shielding
• Monitor patients during examinations and report unusual occurrences
• Clean and disinfect imaging equipment and rooms
• Maintain supplies and radiographic technique charts
• Transport patients as needed
• Provide education to patients, staff, and peers

⭐ Ideal Candidate

A licensed and ARRT-registered Radiologic Technologist with strong general X-ray and portable imaging experience, familiarity with GE X-ray systems and GE/OEC C-arms, and an active SC Radiologic Tech license and SCRQSA registration. Must have AHA BLS available for submission.
