Description
- Position: Electrophysiology Technologist
- Department: EP Lab
- Location: 30 Prospect Avenue, Hackensack, NJ 07601
- Hours: 40/week
- Schedule: 4 × 10s or 5 × 8s
- Shifts: 11:00 AM–7:30 PM or 9:00 AM–7:30 PM
- Weekends/Holidays: As needed
- On-call: Required
Required Experience
The strongest requirement is Cath Lab / EP experience.
Candidate should have experience with:
- Electrophysiology procedures
- Intra-procedure mapping
- Ablations
- Pacemaker/implantable device procedures
- Sterile scrub technique
- Cardiac arrhythmia recognition
- Hemodynamic monitoring
- IABP and Impella/circulatory support
- Vascular access and sheath removal
Education
One of:
- Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist program
- Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program
- Associate's degree / AAS
Certifications
- AHA BLS required
- ACLS required within 3 months of employment
- Within 1 year, must pass RCIS exam through CCI or have an RT license
