Description

Position: Electrophysiology Technologist
Department: EP Lab
Location: 30 Prospect Avenue, Hackensack, NJ 07601
Hours: 40/week
Schedule: 4 × 10s or 5 × 8s
Shifts: 11:00 AM–7:30 PM or 9:00 AM–7:30 PM
Weekends/Holidays: As needed
On-call: Required

Required Experience

The strongest requirement is Cath Lab / EP experience.

Candidate should have experience with:

Electrophysiology procedures
Intra-procedure mapping
Ablations
Pacemaker/implantable device procedures
Sterile scrub technique
Cardiac arrhythmia recognition
Hemodynamic monitoring
IABP and Impella/circulatory support
Vascular access and sheath removal

Education

One of:

Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist program
Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program
Associate's degree / AAS

Certifications

AHA BLS required
ACLS required within 3 months of employment
Within 1 year, must pass RCIS exam through CCI or have an RT license
