Description
🫀 Must-Have Experience
- 2+ years of ECMO Specialist experience with circuit management — REQUIRED
- 3+ years CVICU/ICU experience preferred
- ECMO Specialist-specific training required
- RN ECMO Specialists only — not accepting Respiratory Therapy or Perfusion ECMO Specialists
- 1+ year of Epic experience required
- Previous charge experience preferred
📋 Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- CES-A or E-AEC
Preferred: LVAD experience/certification
🏥 Clinical Experience
Experience with:
- VA, VV & V-PA ECMO
- CentriMag / CardioHelp
- Impella CP, 5.5 & RP Flex
- IABP
- LVAD/RVAD
- CRRT/CVVHD
- Ventilator management
- Cardiac drips & vasoactive medications
- Post-cardiac surgery patients
- Cardiogenic/post-cardiotomy shock
- Acute cardiac & respiratory failure
- ARDS
- CABG and valve repair/replacement
- Heart transplant
- Swan-Ganz/Pulmonary Artery Line monitoring
- EVD/ICP monitoring and other critical-care skills
