LPN – Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and relevant clinical information.
• Administer IM and subcutaneous injections in accordance with provider orders and clinical protocols.
• Perform and document EKGs and assist providers with diagnostic evaluations.
• Conduct diabetic foot examinations and report abnormal findings to the appropriate provider.
• Perform medication reconciliation, reviewing current medications for accuracy and identifying discrepancies.
• Assist providers with Well Woman Exams, including preparation and support for birth-control procedures/devices.
• Apply and manage splints as directed by the provider.
• Communicate test results to patients according to established protocols and provider instructions.
• Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and routine outpatient visits.
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and promptly report abnormal findings to the provider.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner EMR.
• Provide patient education regarding medications, treatments, follow-up care, and preventive health measures.
• Follow infection-control, medication-safety, patient-privacy, and other clinic policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.

Position Requirements:

• Schedule: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday–Friday
• BLS and ACLS required from AHA
• Oklahoma LPN license or Compact LPN license required
• Cerner experience preferred
