Description
Position: ER Registered Nurse (RN)
Shift: Night shift, 7 PM–7 AM
Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts/week
Contract: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
Requirements:
- Must live at least 100 miles away
- 3+ years of ER/ED experience
- Current RN license in the state/district
- Graduate of an accredited/NLN-approved RN program
- BLS & ACLS required
- PALS required
- TNCC required
- NIHSS required
- CPI/NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training required
- BSN highly preferred
ED Environment:
- Fast-paced emergency department treating all types of patients
- Includes urgent care, psychiatric, pediatric, critical-care, and trauma patients
- Nurses may handle:
- Medication titration
- Arterial lines
- Massive blood transfusions
- Chest tubes
- Complex/critical patients
Bottom line: This was a 12-hour night ER RN contract, requiring significant ER experience and multiple certifications, but the position is currently filled and no openings are available
