Job Details
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist position in New York, NY
- Day shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
- Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures
- Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Follow proper radiation safety and infection control procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and quality patient care
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records
Job Requirements
- Active New York State Department of Health Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) License
- ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT) certification
- Current AHA or ARC BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
- Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures, radiation safety, and patient care
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
