CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist 
Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday + On-Call Required
Contract Length: 90 Weeks

Position Overview

The CVOR CST will provide surgical technologist support for cardiovascular and endovascular procedures. The position requires experience in open-heart, thoracic, and endovascular specialties, along with the ability to support procedures in a Hybrid Operating Room.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CST duties during cardiovascular and surgical procedures.
• Support open-heart and thoracic surgeries.
• Assist with endovascular procedures and interventional cases.
• Provide surgical support in the Hybrid OR.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, instruments, and surgical supplies.
• Assist the surgical team throughout procedures while maintaining strict sterile technique.
• Participate in on-call coverage for the Hybrid OR.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia staff, and other members of the surgical team.
• Follow established OR safety, infection-control, and surgical protocols.

Required Skills

• Strong CVOR surgical technology experience.
• Experience with endovascular, open-heart, and thoracic procedures.
• Ability to work in a Hybrid OR environment combining surgical and interventional procedures.
• Ability to take required on-call shifts.
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced cardiovascular surgical environment.

Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
On-Call: Required

Unit Information

The OR/CVOR department consists of 14 operating rooms, including:

• 2 Heart Rooms
• 1 Hybrid OR
• 11 additional OR rooms

Contract Duration: 90 Weeks
