Location: Danvers Surgical Center & Beverly Hospital, Massachusetts
Position: 40 Hours/Week
Shift: Primarily Days with rotating Evening shifts
License: Active Massachusetts RN License required
Certification: BLS-AHA required
EMR: EPIC experience required

 

Position Overview

 

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a 40-hour/week position supporting Danvers Surgical Center and Beverly Hospital. This is a traveler-friendly facility, and previous travel experience is preferred.

The RN must have strong OR experience, particularly with Orthopedics and Cataract surgeries, and must be comfortable scrubbing Da Vinci robotic cases and orthopedic cases.

 

Schedule

  • 3 days/week at Danvers Surgical Center: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • 2 days/week at Beverly Hospital: Rotating day/evening shifts
  • Latest evening shift: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
  • May be required to float to Addison Gilbert Hospital as needed

OR / Surgical Experience Required

Strong experience in:

  • Orthopedic surgery – required
  • Cataract surgery – required
  • General Surgery
  • GYN
  • GU
  • ENT
  • Vascular
  • Robotics
  • Spine experience is a plus
  • Da Vinci Robotics experience – required
  • Must be comfortable scrubbing robotic and orthopedic cases

Call Requirements

The RN may be required to take call at Beverly Hospital:

  • 2–3 call shifts per schedule period
  • Weeknight call: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Weekend call: 12-hour shifts
    • 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
    • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • 30-minute call response time required
