Description
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) — School-Based
Employment Type: Full-Time | Standard School Hours
Setting: K–12 Public School District
Openings: Two vacancies across two distinct settings
Position Overview
We are seeking licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide direct therapy, evaluations, and IEP management within a school-based environment. Openings span a range of student populations, from a traditional elementary caseload to a specialized program serving students with complex, low-incidence needs.
Available Settings
Traditional Elementary (K–5)Deliver direct therapy, conduct evaluations, and manage IEPs for a general elementary student population.
Separate / Specialized School (K–12, Students with Disabilities)Provide specialized interventions, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) support, and multidisciplinary collaboration for students with complex and low-incidence needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to an assigned caseload
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments
- Develop, manage, and monitor IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
Requirements
- Active state Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license, valid in the state of assignment
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience with elementary and/or low-incidence / specialized populations preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage evaluations, IEP goal development, and direct therapy services
