Position Overview
Lahey Clinic is seeking an experienced Neuro ICU RN to join its 18-bed Neurosciences Critical Care Unit (NCCU).
The NCCU is a specialized combined Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) providing comprehensive, evidence-based care to patients with complex neurological conditions.
The RN will care for critically ill neuroscience patients and work closely with neurosurgeons, neurointensivists, advanced practice providers, rehabilitation specialists, and other interdisciplinary team members.
Patient Population & Clinical Experience
The NCCU cares for patients with:
- Acute ischemic stroke
- Hemorrhagic stroke
- Patients recovering from neurointerventional radiology procedures
- Complex neurosurgical interventions
- Critically ill neurological patients requiring advanced monitoring
- Patients requiring progressive neurological recovery and intensive care
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN License
- Neuro ICU / Neuroscience critical care experience
- Level I Trauma experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Epic experience required
- NIHSS certification/experience required
- ACLS
- BLS
