Description

Position: RN - CVOR

Location: Denver, CO

Job Type: 13 Weeks Contract + possible extensions

Shift: Days 4 x 10

Schedule: 4 days/week

Expected Hours: 40 hours per week

Local candidates accepted as well, pay for locals: $65 - $70/hr


Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse to join a busy Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will have strong perioperative nursing experience and be comfortable providing patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. Experience with Orthopedic and Neuro surgical cases is highly preferred.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care throughout the perioperative process.
  • Provide direct nursing care in the Operating Room while maintaining patient safety and surgical standards.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately during surgical procedures.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Educate patients and families regarding procedures and postoperative care.
  • Document patient care and treatment plans in accordance with hospital and 

    regulatory guidelines.

  • Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans.
  • Utilize available resources to ensure efficient and quality patient care.
  • Float to other departments within scope of practice and competency as needed.
  • Participate in on-call coverage when required.
     

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Colorado or compact state RN License.
  • 1+ year of experience as a RN CVOR.
  • BLS (AHA) certification.
  • ACLS certification.
  • Must have Ortho/Neuro experience
