Position: RN - Operating Room

Location: Golden, CO

Job Type: 13 Weeks Contract + possible extensions

Shift: Nights 3 x 12

Schedule: 3 days/week

Expected Hours: 36 hours per week

Local candidates accepted as well, pay for locals: $55 - $60/hr

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic surgical services team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality perioperative nursing care, collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, and ensure patient safety throughout the surgical process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Operating Room setting.
• Provide direct nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-operative care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines.
• Review and monitor treatment plans and patient outcomes.
• Support infection prevention and patient safety initiatives.
• Float to other departments within scope of practice as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Colorado or compact state RN License.
• 1+ year of experience as a RN OR.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
