Description
Respiratory Therapist (RRT / CRT) – Night Shift
- Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00 – 07:00 | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week
- Weekend Protocol: Night shift requires every other weekend. Team scheduling model.
- Floating Protocol: Floating required throughout all inpatient areas of the hospital in an RT capacity.
- Cancellation Policy: Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
- Requested Time Off (RTO) Policy [HARDSTOP]: Maximum 7 days or less of RTO per 13-week contract due at submittal. No additional RTO approved post-submission.
- Radius & Employment Policy [HARDSTOP]: Permanent address must be >50 miles from facility
- Fingernail Policy [HARDSTOP]: Artificial nails are strictly prohibited in all patient care areas; refusal to remove nails leads to contract termination.
- Orientation: 12 Orientation Hours (3x12-hour shifts).
Assignment Duration: 13-Week Contract (09/14/2026 start date) | Open Position
Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]
- Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 1+ year of RT experience with recent Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Center clinical experience.
- Required Technical Skills: Proven competency in EKGs, bedside bronchs, and bedside spirometry.
- Credentialing & Registries [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]:
- Active NBRC Credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) [HARDSTOP].
- Active Nebraska State Respiratory Care Practitioner License in-hand to submit.
- Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]:
- Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification [HARDSTOP].
- Active AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification [HARDSTOP].
- Preferred Certifications: Active NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
