Description
Requirements
- NICU experience REQUIRED
- Pediatric experience may be considered, but NICU experience is mandatory
- NRP REQUIRED
- RRT
- CPR/BLS-AHA required
- 2+ years related experience
- Experience with:
- Artificial airway management
- Mechanical ventilation
- Aerosolized medications
- Oxygen therapy
- Delivery room experience preferred
Unit
- Level II & III NICU / Special Care Nursery
- Birthing hospital NICU
- Every 3rd weekend required
- Weekend rotation occurs every 3 weeks
Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret respiratory tests and procedures
- Manage respiratory care in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
- Independently administer respiratory care protocols
- Provide respiratory support across various clinical settings
