Position: Respiratory Therapist

Location: Boise, ID

Job Type: 13 Weeks Contract + possible extensions

Shift: Nights 3 days x 12 hours

Schedule: 3 days/week

Expected Hours: 36 hours per week

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RT) to provide respiratory care services across adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in respiratory treatments, ventilator management, arterial blood gas analysis, and patient transport while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.

• Manage and monitor ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, high-flow oxygen systems, and 

  other respiratory equipment.

• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) collection and analysis.
• Assess patient respiratory status and recommend appropriate interventions.
• Assist with intubations and emergency airway management procedures.
• Transport patients requiring respiratory support throughout the facility.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and document care accurately in the EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Idaho RRT license.
• NBRC registration.
• 2+ year of experience as a RRT.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• ACLS Certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
• PALS Certification
• CRT accepted with 3–5 years of experience.
