Travel Histotechnologist

Facility: Northside Hospital Atlanta
Department: Histology Lab (705)
Location: Atlanta, GA 30342
Contract: 13 Weeks | Travel Only

Pay Package

Gross Weekly Pay: $1,544/week
Weekly Stipend: $1,144/week
W2 Taxable Rate: $10/hour
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Schedule

Shift: 8-hour Evening Shift
Hours: 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Prior Travel Experience: Required

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience within the specialty/pathology laboratory.
ASCP certification – HT or HLT required.
Successful completion of a formal Histology Technologist training program OR an Associate’s degree in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Sciences.
Strong experience with histology specimen processing and slide preparation.
Cerner experience preferred.

Holiday Requirement

Travelers must work 2 major holidays out of 3:

Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
New Year’s Day

Plus 1 minor holiday:

Friday after Thanksgiving
Christmas Eve
New Year’s Eve
