Position: MRI Technologist
Facility: Baptist Health, Montgomery, Alabama
Facility Type: 492-bed hospital / Level I Trauma Center
Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM
Hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week
Weekend: Usually about once per month, based on department needs
On-Call: Voluntary

Main Duties

• Perform MRI scans for inpatient and outpatient patients.
• Work with adult patients and occasional pediatric patients.
• Perform MRI procedures including:
  • Head/Neck
  • Abdomen
  • Pelvis
  • Spine
  • Extremities
  • MRAs
• Work in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital.
• Float within different areas of the Radiology Department.
• Help with patient transport when needed, especially outside centralized transport hours.
• Use Cerner EMR.
• Work with GE MRI equipment, including GE Artist 1.5T.

Requirements

• BLS required
• ARRT required
• For MRI Tech: ARRT (R)-MR or ARMRIT
• Strong experience with the required MRI procedures and skills
• First-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of strong relevant experience
• Travelers with 1 year of experience may be accepted if they have strong required skills
