Description
POSITION DETAILS
- Specialty: Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) – Psych ED
- Department: Adult & Pediatric Emergency Room
- Shift: Evenings, 1600–0200
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend – Saturday & Sunday
- Float: Yes; may float between units as needed
- On-Call: No
- Block Schedule: No
- Expected Ratio: 1:7
- 48-Hour Contracts: Not approved
REQUIREMENTS
- Full independent licensure required — Associate license will NOT suffice.
- Must be licensed as a Mental Health Counselor, Marriage & Family Therapist, or Independent Clinical Social Worker.
- Experience conducting crisis risk assessments for both adults and pediatrics required.
- Hospital experience preferred.
- If overstaffed, clinician may be asked to float to Holy Family Hospital and perform the same duties.
