Description
Pathology Assistant – Travel Contract
Position: Pathology Assistant
Shift: Days, Monday–Friday
Hours: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
Contract: 17 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of surgical pathology experience – REQUIRED
- Must be a Certified Pathologists' Assistant
- Must have graduated from a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists' Assistant training program
- PA (ASCP) CM certification – REQUIRED
License Requirements
- Permanent Ohio license in hand at submission – REQUIRED
- Compact licenses accepted for eligible starts
- Facility does not accept license hits
- COVID vaccine required
- Flu vaccine required
Key Must-Haves
3+ years surgical pathology + PA(ASCP) CM + NAACLS-accredited PA education + active Ohio license + 18+ months permanent specialty experience + 2 recent leadership references.
Best candidate: An experienced, certified Pathologists' Assistant with strong surgical specimen grossing/dissection experience who has an active Ohio license and recent leadership references.
