Cath Lab Technologist – Job Details

Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist
Setting: Acute Care / Level III Trauma
Shift: 9-hour Days, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM
Schedule: 4 × 9-hour shifts/week
Contract: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Required Experience

• Cath Lab experience is REQUIRED
• IR experience is preferred, but candidate can be willing to learn
• Experience with STEMI, NSTEMI, pacemakers
• Experience in a combined Cath/IR lab is a plus
• Must be comfortable with circulating and monitoring cases
• Pre- and post-procedure patient care/calls

Required Certifications

Candidate must have:

• BLS – AHA
• ACLS
• Either:
  • RCIS – Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist via CCI, OR
  • ARRT (CI) – Cardiac Interventional Radiography

Important: If the candidate does not have ARRT(R), they may need to obtain the required Colorado fluoroscopy certification.

• ✅ Required state license
• ✅ Epic experience preferred/expected
• ✅ Comfortable with weeknight + weekend + holiday call
• ✅ 30-minute call response time
• ✅ Willing to work 4 × 9-hour shifts
• ✅ Willing to be in-state during orientation week
• ✅ Driver's License available for radius verification
• ✅ No issue with combined Cath/IR environment

Best candidate profile: An experienced Cath Lab Tech with RCIS or ARRT(CI), strong STEMI/NSTEMI/pacemaker experience, Epic/Mac-Lab/Siemens experience, and willingness to take frequent call.
