Years of experience REQ: 1
First-timers accepted: YES
Weekend REQ: Every third (4 weekend shifts per contract)
Certs REQ: ACLS Preferred
Is on-call REQ? YES, as needed
Special Requirements: Cerner EMR preferred; COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions accepted if medical or religious)
Patient Diagnoses: Peripheral vascular disease, Aortic disease, Peripheral artery disease, Carotid disease, Coronary artery Disease, Valve Disease, TAVR, Aortic Dissections; RN that can circulate open heart surgeries and vascular cases
Special Procedures: Angiograms, Aortograms, EVAR, TVAR, TCAR, open AAA
Special Equipment: Hybrid room

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
