RN – Cardiac Tele Float Pool | Nights

Start Date: September only
Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: 3×12-hour Nights
Weekend: Every other weekend required
License: Missouri RN or Compact

🚨 HARDSTOP REQUIREMENTS

• Cerner experience – REQUIRED, NO EXCEPTIONS
• Travel experience – REQUIRED, NO EXCEPTIONS
• 18+ months of true Telemetry experience – REQUIRED
• Strong cardiac experience – REQUIRED
   
• Must have experience with:
  • Titrating drips
  • Pre/post cardiac cath patients
  • Sheaths
  • Cardiac monitoring
     
• No first-time travelers
• Must be willing to float
• Must be willing to care for COVID patients

Certifications

• ACLS – Required
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• CPI – Required
• NIHSS – Required
• TNCC – Preferred

Telemetry Testing

• Traveler must pass an EKG exam on orientation day
• Minimum passing score: 80%
• Exam includes lethal rhythms
• Must pass to continue placement

CEU Requirement

Tele placements require:

• 8 Cardiac CEUs
• 8 Stroke CEUs

Other Details

• Charting: Cerner
• Scrubs: Navy Blue
• Block scheduling: Not allowed
• Time off submitted after submission will not be approved
