Description

Surgical Technician – Labor & Delivery – Nights

Location: Torrance, California
Contract: 8 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Nights
Hours: 40 hours/week
Schedule: Nights, including weekends and holidays
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technician for an 8-week night-shift assignment supporting Labor & Delivery. This opportunity is ideal for a Surgical Tech with inpatient experience who is comfortable preparing surgical instruments and maintaining a sterile field in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Schedule

40 hours/week
Night shift
Every other weekend required
Must be available to work weekends and holidays
No on-call requirement
ASAP start

Requirements

1+ year of inpatient Surgical Technician experience required
2+ years of Surgical Technician experience
Current Surgical Technician certification
BLS
Experience preparing instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures
Experience maintaining the sterile field
Experience setting up delivery tables
