Shift: Night/Eves, 4 × 10 hours
Hours: 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM
Contract: 13 weeks / 91 days
$2,246.00/week
 

Position Overview

The Psychiatric Emergency Department Clinical Social Worker will provide crisis assessment, behavioral health evaluation, intervention, care coordination, and disposition recommendations for adult and pediatric patients presenting to the Emergency Department with mental health and substance use concerns.

The clinician will work under the direction of an ED attending physician or APP and will evaluate patients for risk of danger to self, danger to others, or grave disability, while providing recommendations regarding the appropriate level of care.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
• 3 years of experience preferred/posted in requirements
• Must have full independent licensure
• Associate-level license will not suffice
• Valid Washington State license or qualifying compact license
• Compact license must be in hand at submission
• Epic experience required
• Hospital experience preferred
• Experience conducting crisis risk assessments for adults and pediatrics
• Experience with psychiatric emergency/crisis intervention preferred
