Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations.
• Perform interventional cardiovascular procedures using advanced radiographic equipment.
• Operate sophisticated imaging equipment to produce digital diagnostic images.
• Position and instruct patients for examinations and procedures.
• Perform specialized cardiovascular and vascular imaging studies.
• Provide safe and efficient patient care throughout procedures.
• Apply strong technical, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
• Mentor and train staff on technical procedures and equipment.
• Provide input regarding staff hiring and promotion decisions.
• Follow department safety, quality, and patient-care standards.

Requirements

• Experience in Cardiovascular/Cath Lab or Vascular Interventional Radiology required.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac and vascular radiographic procedures.
• Experience operating advanced/interventional imaging equipment.
• Strong technical and critical-thinking skills.
• Leadership, mentoring, and staff-training experience preferred.
• Must be comfortable working varied 10-hour shifts.
