Description
Shift timings:
9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Experience:
- Experience working as a Registered Dietitian/Dietitian-Nutritionist in acute care or post-acute/long-term care settings.
- Experience with clinical nutrition assessment, care planning, nutritional interventions, and monitoring preferred.
- For post-acute/LTC roles, must meet NYSED Dietitian-Nutritionist requirements at the time of hire.
Education:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college/university in Dietetics, Foods and Nutrition, or a related field.
- Preferred: Master’s degree.
Certification:
- Acute Care: Registered Dietitian (RD) registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR); primary source verification required.
- Preferred: AHA BLS certification.
License:
- Post-Acute/LTC: New York State Dietitian-Nutritionist certification, issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED), required at the time of hire.
- Acute Care: Current CDR Registered Dietitian (RD) registration required.
